End of the pharmacy student chain for graduating class

My name is Chris and I am the last pharmacy student in my class lucky enough to be placed at mdBriefCase Group Inc.

This placement will mark the end of my formal pharmacy educational career and is one which will be quite different from the rest. My past experience has been predominantly direct patient care in community and hospital settings, with only one other non-direct patient care placement in the pharmaceutical industry.

I previously completed CE courses on the Canadian Health Network and found them to be of great value as they reinforce what I already knew, as well as teach me things that I didn’t. Having the opportunity to contribute to rxBriefCase's CE programs which ultimately aim to optimize patient outcomes is something that I am very excited to be a part of.

My topics of interests include cardiology, mental health and infectious diseases.

Upon arrival, I was oriented by my preceptor and introduced to the members of the team. I was also provided with an in-depth guide as to what I can expect to accomplish over the next 5 weeks, which my preceptor and I went over together.

I will be updating this blog to share my experiences, so feel free to contact me if you have any questions or feedback, and I will be more than happy to connect. Stick around!
